Gyuri Lohmuller

Gyuri Lohmuller is a self-taught painter who lives and works in Brasov, Romania. Lohmuller has had exhibitions in Austria, Germany, France and Hungary, and is willing to share his inner world with anyone who is interested. His paintings reflect his deepest emotions. “The emotion”, he says, “is art.” He easily plays with different styles and themes in his work including surreal, abstract, symbolic, pop-art, fantasy, realism, figurative. But he prefers the surrealistic themes, the ones, he says, that give him the real freedom to create.

Childhood, 2009,  oil on canvas,  70 x 100cm
